With the flint water crisis so popular in the news, I can’t help but wonder what effects it will have on our economy in the future. The impacts of pbb disaster here in Michigan in 1973 is still effecting people 40 years later.

It Probably will have some pretty serious long term implication based on factors like how, our citizens will not fully recover their trust in the government. as well as the fact that Michigan is already facing the problem that our youth are choosing to leave more now than in the past, so this will affect the states population, which in turn lowers yearly tax income. the loss on tax income could lead to more shoddy jobs which then might spur another disaster.

  Not to mention the long term health effects it will have, which could potentially make it impossible for some to work, forcing them to live off disability and welfare.
